QOL, Bug Fixes, and Whats Next


This will likely be the last update for this game, but that's not a bad thing! This game was meant to be like a learning experience for what its like to make a game, and soon we will probably move onto making another game, but before I get into what's happening later, here's what this update adds. (I worked on this on and off for a couple months, so I definitely forgot some stuff.)

Added buttons in the menu that let you change the zoom level of the screen

Added a volume slider

Updated localization files 

_________Bug Fixes__________

Changed the bestiary. This will hopefully remove an issue with the text being cut off.

Fixed a bug where the Pilfering Pokers wouldn't switch animations after being hit with the salt shotguns right click.

Now here's a little log of stuff we did while making this project. I was the main and only coder for this project, and it started as something for school, where there was a time based competition about making a game. Because of the time limit, we didn't focus much on organising what to do before we started, so we kind of had to figure things out as we went. I also had negligible coding experience and didn't even know what a boolean was, so a lot of unnecessary struggle could have been prevented with some extra research. We also didn't have very specific roles for each person, so there was a bit of arguing on who would do what. 

Even though these issues were present, i'd like to think we still made a pretty good first-time game. Im hoping to make more soon and see where this takes me and the rest of the team. As i said at the beginning, this game probably won't get any more updates, but im still happy it was made, and that (even if it was a small amount,) that at least a couple people played and enjoyed it, but for now goodbye!
